Fethiye Taxi Guide: Dalaman Airport Prices, Uber, and Dolmus
A taxi from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye costs 3,000 lira, about $60, on the airport taxi cooperative's price list. The same list quotes $70 for the trip, so paying in lira saves about $10. In town, Uber is the easiest way to call a car. It sends local licensed taxis and shows a price range before you book.
The problem comes when you walk out of the terminal. You can't open Uber, check a route, or read your hotel address without mobile data, and airport Wi-Fi can show up on your phone and still not connect. Land with data working, or plan to use the taxi stand.
Dollar amounts use about 49.9 lira to $1, the rate on 2026-10-30. Uber's service and the cooperative's prices were checked that day. Bus fares, dolmus fares, and distances were checked on 2026-10-18.
In short:
- Dalaman Airport taxis cost 3,000 lira ($60) to Fethiye, 3,500 lira ($70) to Oludeniz or Hisaronu, and 4,250 lira ($85) to Kabak.
- Uber works around the clock in Fethiye with licensed taxis, and takes cash or a card added in the app.
- Havas and MUTTAS airport buses cost 300 lira ($6) to Fethiye bus station, but they only promise to meet domestic flights.
- The dolmus to Oludeniz runs every 7 to 8 minutes in the daytime and costs 89 lira ($1.78).
Dalaman Airport to Fethiye by taxi
The Dalaman Airport Taxi Cooperative serves the airport. Its stand is at the International Terminal. The numbers are +90 533 958 28 72 and +90 252 792 52 40, and you can also send a message to the first one.
Prices are fixed and posted in four currencies. You pay on arrival. If you book, a guide meets you at the airport for free, and the cooperative says its guides work in five languages.
| To | Distance | Time | Lira | Lira in dollars | Listed dollar price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gocek | 14.6 mi | 26 min | 1,400 | $28 | $35 |
| Yaniklar, Ciftlik | before Fethiye | under 54 min | 2,500 | $50 | $60 |
| Fethiye | 33.5 mi | 54 min | 3,000 | $60 | $70 |
| Hisaronu | 38.9 mi | 65 min | 3,500 | $70 | $80 |
| Oludeniz | 40.8 mi | 70 min | 3,500 | $70 | $80 |
| Faralya, Kabak | 51.5 mi to Kabak | 98 min to Kabak | 4,250 | $85 | $95 |
The dollar price runs $7 to $10 above the lira price at the rate that day. Bring lira if you can. The list also shows euros and pounds, and 60 euros or 50 pounds to Fethiye may suit you if you carry those instead.
Times assume no traffic. They come from map routing from the International Terminal, not from the cooperative.
Older blog posts may show lower fares. The list went up in spring 2026. It showed 2,250 lira to Fethiye in March, and 3,000 lira by May.
Is there Uber in Fethiye?
Yes. Uber's Fethiye page says you can request a local taxi at any hour. Drivers hold permits, cars are legally registered, and Uber says it does not work with unlicensed taxis. Each car takes up to 4 people.
The app shows a low and high price before you request. Pay with cash or a card added to your account. If you use a US card, check your bank's foreign transaction fee.
Uber also has a Dalaman taxi page. Its airport list did not include Dalaman on October 18, 2026, and it gave no pickup directions for the terminal. After a long flight, the cooperative's stand is the safer plan.
Set up Uber at home. That way you can sign up on Wi-Fi while your usual number gets texts.
Taxi stands and meter fares in Fethiye
Without an app, walk to a stand. OpenStreetMap shows more than a dozen in central Fethiye, including Otogar Taksi at the bus station, Marina Taksi, and Yali Taksi. There is a stand on Denizpark Caddesi by Belcekiz Beach in Oludeniz, and others in Kayakoy, Ciftlik, and Gocek.
Mugla's metropolitan council sets taxi fares for the whole province. After its February 2026 decision, the meter starts at 150 lira ($3) and the minimum ride is 250 lira ($5), according to Mugla Gazetesi.
Before a metered ride, compare with Uber's range for the same address, or agree on a price with the driver first.
Carry lira in small bills. A Fethiye driver told Fethiye Times in February 2026 that he sometimes waits at ATMs with passengers or gives out his bank details for a transfer.
Airport buses: Havas and MUTTAS
Two buses run from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye bus station, and both cost 300 lira ($6). The fare to Gocek is 220 lira ($4.40).
Havas leaves from the airport parking area and takes about an hour. It stops at Dalaman, Gocek, Gunlukbasi, and Adnan Menderes Boulevard on the way to the bus station. If you tell the driver in advance, you can get off at a marked stop along the main road.
MUTTAS Line 48-25 does the same run. You can't book or buy a ticket in advance, but bank cards work on all its vehicles.
The catch for travelers from the US: both companies say they meet domestic flights. Neither page promises to meet international arrivals. If you connect through Istanbul and land on a domestic flight, the bus is a good option. If you fly straight in from abroad, plan on a taxi.
Going back to the airport, each company ran 7 or 8 trips a day in mid-October, with the first at 2:15 a.m. and the last around 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Check Havas or MUTTAS for your date, since times change daily. Havas's number is 0850 222 0 487.
Dolmus routes from Fethiye
A dolmus is a shared minibus. Most leave from Mahalle Garaji in the center, and Calis lines leave from the Merkez stop. The fares below are the full Mugla Kart price from May 2026. Fares rise with distance.
| To | Line | Distance | How often | Fare |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Calis | 3-23, 3-24 | 4.7 mi | every 7 to 15 min, until 11:40 p.m. | 42 lira ($0.84) |
| Hisaronu | 3-40 | 7.3 mi | every 7 to 8 min by day, 6:50 a.m. to midnight | 56 lira ($1.12) |
| Oludeniz | 3-40 | 9.3 mi | same, last bus back 1 a.m. | 89 lira ($1.78) |
| Kayakoy | 3-44 | 5.6 mi | hourly, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. | 89 lira ($1.78) |
| Kabak | 3-42 | 20 mi | 8 trips, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. | 123 lira ($2.46) |
| Gocek | 3-50 | 19.7 mi | 17 to 25 trips, 7:10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. | 103 lira ($2.06) |
| Saklikent | 5-13 | 28.6 mi | 18 to 25 trips, 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. | 158 lira ($3.17) |
Line 3-44 to Kayakoy goes around through Hisaronu, which is why it costs the same as Oludeniz. Line 3-40 stops at the bus station too, so you can reach Oludeniz from the airport with one transfer. The last dolmus back leaves Kabak and Faralya at 7:30 p.m. and Saklikent at 6:45 p.m., so plan your day around it.
You can get a Mugla Kart at two offices in central Fethiye, on Ataturk Caddesi at 501 Sokak 7/C and at Ali Gaffar Okkan Caddesi 504/1. MUTTAS also says bank cards work in the vehicles on these lines. A pricier fare column exists for a separate card type, at 59 lira for a short ride and 115 lira to Oludeniz, so ask which card you are buying.
Where you need data
Plan on mobile data for these jobs:
- Requesting an Uber at the terminal and seeing the price range
- Following the route on a map against the meter
- Messaging the taxi cooperative to find your driver
- Checking the day's bus times, or using the live "Otobusum Nerede" bus tracker on MUTTAS line pages
- Showing your hotel address in Turkish with a translation app
nPerf's map on October 18, 2026 showed Vodafone 5G readings at Oludeniz, Hisaronu, and Gocek, and 4G at Kayakoy and Kabak. It showed no Vodafone readings within about a third of a mile of Faralya or Saklikent Canyon. These are two years of user tests, not a promise of 5G on any plan. Save your route and address offline before you head that way.
